Чем более ослабевает воля к самосохранению лезгинского народа, тем выше поднимается, и тем ярче сияет флаг с изображением алиевых. Об этом, как передает официальный сайт Движения “Свободный Лезгистан”, говорится в заявлении лезгинской организации “Садвал”. “Отсутствие борьбы против систематической и неуклонной ассимиляции коренных народов (лезгин, талышей, аварцев и удин) вдохновляет их к расширению масштабов действий. Успехи придают им больше самоуверенности и аппетита. При этом одним из главных плацдармов азербайджанских турок, предшествующий к ассимиляции малых коренных народов остается фактор религии с подачей единомыслия массам и террор в отношении инакомыслящих. Под лозунгами «мы один народ», «мы все мусульмани», «у нас нет проблем с лезгинами», ведется хитрая и жесткая работа по уничтожению истоков истории, а в последствии, лезгинского народа как этноса. Официальное Баку на один шаг от того, чтобы вообще отрицать существования лезгинского народа.
Нельзя исключать, что в скором будущем «они» официально объявят себя так же лезгинами, или же лезгин азербайджанцами, чтобы окончательно, словно кукушка, оперившись в чужом гнезде, приступить к свойственным ей действиям. Факт всем известный, что после проведения в г.Москве всемирного симпозиума по Албанистике, азербайджанские СМИ массивно начали пропагандировать о принадлежности азербайджанцев-турок к албанским племенам, которые являются потомками государства древней Кавказской Албании, занимавшего территории нынешнего Азербайджана.
И так, мы свидетели того, что в короткий исторический промежуток, от недавней царской империи до сегодняшнего дня, азербайджанцы успели поменять свою национальность много раз,- татары кавказские, азербайджанские турки, азербайджанцы – азери, турки и пр. В очереди албанцы, лезгины и еще бог знает кто. Любопытно наблюдать за всем этим поиском нахождения идентичности. Несомненно, такой уникальный и современный опыт установления национальной принадлежности заслуживает изучения, но пока специалистами остается незамеченным и не комментированным. В итоге, очевидно, что сегодня в столь агрессивной среде, быть лезгином и остаться им трудно.
Но, успех, построенный на ассимиляции и физическом поглощении коренных народов целиком в единое «азербайджанско – тюркское», методом отбирания у них языка и культуры, при всем своем внешнем расцвете может оказаться временным. Им не удастся скрыть внутренней слабость и нецельность государства. Как только мы начнем защищать свой родной кров, культуру, историю и язык от тюркско-азербайджанского проглатывания, так сразу идея о «монотонной азербайджанской нации и государства» приобретет форму похожую на судьбу Югославии или Грузии. Правящий режим Баку, от понимания ситуации перед страхом впадает в бешенство. Животный инстинкт по удержанию холявную добычу, толкает их на открыто наглые репрессии против лезгин.
Задача лезгинских патриотов, сегодня в условиях усилившегося давления на национально-патриотическое движение, должна состоять в том, чтобы не упускать ни одной возможности превращать начавшиеся уголовные преследования против лезгинского населения в политический процесс разрастающегося лезгинского сопротивления, используя уголовные дела как топливо этого процесса. Всякие действия власти против нас должны приводить к несоразмерно большим проблемам для нее, чем те, которые она намеревались решить. Для этого необходимы организованные усилия и объединение всех патриотических сил. Никто из патриотов не имеет права пребывать в безучастии к происходящим, где бы то ни было преследованиям наших соратников. Посильное участие каждого патриота в защите каждого из тех, кто попадает под пресс заказного правосудия, в итоге выльется в единую и мобильную силу.
Все зависит только от нас и от каждого. Один за всех и все за одного – вот залог нашего успеха”.
