В Конгрессе азербайджанцев Грузии (КАГ) проведена встреча с группой преподавателей и родителей школы села Ахлымахмудлу Марнеульского района.
Согласно сообщению пресс-службы КАГ, гости выразили обеспокоенность в связи с недавним решением о закрытии школы.
Директор школы Сейяд Гасанов сказал, что они поддерживают проводимые в Грузии преобразования. «Но сегодня наша школа оказалась перед угрозой закрытия, и мы усматриваем в этом деле нарушения закона. Мы требуем, чтобы нам объяснили, на каком основании школа закрывается. Нам заявляют, что в школе слишком мало учеников, хотя сегодня у нас 112 учеников».
Директор добавил также, что они обращались в Центр культуры азербайджанцев в Марнеули, в посольство Азербайджана в Грузии и в Министерство науки и образования, но ответов не последовало: «Мы позвонили в министерство, и нам ответили, что школа не будет закрыта. Если нам лгут в официальном учреждении, то кому нам верить?»
Следует отметить, что в Ахлымахмудлу обучаются дети также из соседнего села Еникенд. Село Арафлы, в которое планируется перевести учеников закрываемой школы, отстоит отсюда на 5-6 км, однако никакого транспорта для школьников не выделено. В случае закрытия школы всего четверо из 20 учителей будут трудоустроены в Арафлы, остальные останутся без работы.
Председатель КАГ Али Бабаев отметил, что для закрытия школы в Ахлымахмудлу никаких объективных причин нет. «В Грузии есть селения, где спокойно работают школы, в которых 15-20 учеников. На каком же основании они закрывают школу, в которой учатся почти 120 человек? Мы намереваемся встретиться по данному вопросу с министром науки и образования Дмитрием Шашкиным, представителями аппарата омбудсмана и других органов, чтобы внести ясность». По словам А.бабаева, согласно имеющимся сведениям в нынешнем году будут закрыты несколько азербайджаноязычных школ, а около 350 учителей останутся без работы.
